Unnatural Traffic on Jacky’s Opinion

To explain my idea, I will describe through a real case. If you are Indonesian; you can read my Indonesian version on (come soon)

The case is real and available in my local place but I am not one of them because I don’t like it.

Local Bloggers make community for them and the members are local bloggers in their region. They come together in a place and weekend and programs weekly or monthly event to share their blogging development. They make a deal, advice and even persuasion that they must visit each members if they online.

The question is raised. If they have 1000 members, and everyday they visit each blog, it means one day, a member will get 1000 free traffic. Does the traffic they made is natural traffic or unnatural traffic?

It is hard to say that they do unnatural traffic. Let us see another example, about world community such as blogcatalog and mybloglog. Those communities are useful for us to make friend, exchange link and the result will seen on Technoraty. Local Community has quite different with Big Communities. When I visited one member there in community, I have no legal rules (even persuasion) that the member I have visited will visit me. The member has his own decision because there are no rules that you have visit back the member. It is the different. Maybe this is semi-unnatural traffic.

So what is the natural traffic? In my opinion, there are some traffic was indicated as natural traffic.

1. Traffic by Search Engine Tool. This is a very natural traffic. People visit your blog because of they do want to visit your blog. They need information based on their keyword in search engine. So if we want to increase traffic, please write your article with powerful keyword (eventually, some people used garbage keyword in worst article, they just increase their powerful keyword in worst article.)

2. Revisiting visitors, you will get more traffic if readers love your article or your information is very useful. Example, Big Online newspapers have high traffic because people still there to know factual information.

3. RSS method. I don’t know much about RSS method. All I know is RSS let us user get our article without visit our websites.

When I created my blog, I also do semi-natural traffic. Try to visit others bloggers; perhaps I get their attention to visit my blog. I visit them to introduce that Jacky’s Opinion, Best of The Best Website and Metropolis Opinion are online and need some advice or opinion from them. We visit them to promote our website. This is also natural traffic, but everyday we visit the same blog, without get some information, just VISIT, it means unnatural traffic. Thanks
