G8+8 Meeting in Japan and Yudhoyono Idea

Indonesian president Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is included as one of the chosen speaker on KTT G8 meeting on Wednesday July 9, 2008 in Tokyo Japan. Yodhoyono said that Indonesian will punish and try to involve Bali Road Map; resulting from International Conference. Indonesian considers that Climate is currently and urgent cases so Yudhoyono said that He will use the timing as speaker to talk about international environment and climate.

Yudhoyono stated to reporter, “I do remind them, to tell them to realize Bali Road Map. Both of us live under the same sun, live in the same earth, both development and developing countries must care the earth. Bali Road Map must be realized, based on the capability and responsibility and we must focus on Global Climate Change.

President’ staff Dino Patti Djalal said that Indonesia is included as guest on the meeting and Indonesian President gets an honor as the speaker on the G8 meeting.

G8 consist of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, England and America and the special guest are China, India, Mexico, South Africa, Indonesia, Australia and South Korea.

In 2007 G8 meeting in Helligendamm German, G8 established the meeting with 5 partners (new rising industry countries) but when Japan as Home, Japan invites others 3 countries (Indonesia, Australia and South Korea) so, the name isn’t G8+5 but G8+8 Submit meeting.
